This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Union's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Project description
Capricorn Scientific manufactures media, sera, and reagents for cell culture, which in turn are used by biopharmaceutical companies and research institutions worldwide. To meet the acute increase in demand, we completed our new production building at the beginning of 2022, which features over 1350 m2 of state-of-the-art manufacturing space.
Project goals
The goal of our project is to produce high-quality, low-cost products. Among other applications, these products will help to address the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Products already manufactured today include:
- Cell culture media for research and biotechnology companies
- Reagents for research, biotechnology companies & diagnostics
- Viral Transport Medium (VTM) for the safe transport of virus samples
- and many more
